Control Panel #
Refreshed classrooms in the secondary school are equipped with a touch screen control panel that allows the user to view the status of the system, adjust volume and input source, and request support if technical issues arise with the AV system.
In most classrooms this control panel is located on the front wall, between the entrance and the display.
Turning the Display on/off #
1.
When the AV system is off the user will be presented with the standby screen. Tap anywhere on the screen to wake up the system. The display will turn on, with the last input selected being displayed.
When unused for long periods of time the control panel will dim, and then turn off to save power. If you encounter the screen in this state, tap anywhere to wake it up.
2.
To power off the display, press the Power Off button.

Changing Input Sources (Apple TV or HDMI) #
1.
To change between Apple TV and the HDMI cable inputs, select the desired input from the two green buttons. The currently selected input will be highlighted.

Adjusting Volume #
1.
Volume can be adjusted by using the volume slider. Simply press on the fader and move up or down as desired.

Request Technical Support #
1.
If you experience any difficulty using the AV system, a helpdesk request can be logged simply by pressing the Request Technical Support button. Please use this to report an issue such as damaged or missing cables, an input not displaying correctly or issues with using the control panel.

2.
A pop up will ask you to confirm your request.

3.
Once an issue has been reported, the Request Technical Support will be highlighted red and the text will read “Issue Reported”. No further requests can be logged until a technician has responded.
