Prep to Year 2 classrooms are equipped with Redcat microphone and speakers to reinforce teacher voice communication. These are expected to be used throughout the day to enhance student engagement across the class and ensure an equitable learning experience for all.

The speaker is mounted to a wall and on the right side are power and volume controls.

The microphone is worn by the teacher using the lanyard provided. This lanyard has a magnetic clasp to allow it to be open and closed with ease.

The microphone is turned on/off by holding in the power button. When the button is White the microphone is muted. When the button is Blue, the microphone is on. Volume controls are also found on the microphone (Up and down arrows).

The microphone should be charged daily using a USB-C cable.

Alternatively, there is a charging dock available should you prefer.
