Accessing St Andrew’s Network Drives on a Mac

To access the shared network drives from a Mac follow these steps:

Please note that you will need to be on the College network to access these shared drives.

1. Open the Self Service app on your Mac.

    2. Click Install on the St Andrew’s Shared Drives.

      3. Once installed, open either Shared Drive—Photos (known as “P” drive on Windows and where College related photos are stored) or Shared Drive—Files (known as “G” drive on Windows and where College related files are stored).

      4. Select Connect.

      5. Enter your username and password (just your username, not the full email address.). Tick the box to Remember this password in my keychain.
This will mean you will not have to authenticate every time you connect to the shared drive.

      6. A Finder window will pop up with network folders. If it does not automatically pop up for you, you can open up Finder and select the shared drive from the left menu.
